7 and 9 gone in Brisbane

I download guide information from Oztivo using Free*EPG. Been working fine for months but for the past 2 days channel 7 and 9 are gone in Brisbane.

Is this an Oztivo problem or a FreeEPG problem?

Steve

Re: 7 and 9 gone in Brisbane

Not sure steve but my 10 and 10 HD disappeared today as well. I am using oztivo with BRP 3.5 and it has been working fine with no problems for the last 6 months.

I did a restore from a backup from Windows Home Server from a week ago which made my channels appear again, but as soon as it did a guide update they were gone again, so I think it might be oztivo. I can't get them to come back up again

Re: 7 and 9 gone in Brisbane

it's a freeEPG issue i believe, i have the same issue for the freeEPG Oztivo Melbourne feed, ch 7 and 9 no data available for the last 2 days, and like you, have had freeEPG/Oztivo feed working for a number of months without any issues.

i've also PM'd epgStream about the issue, hopefully they will fix it soon.

The ch 7 and 9 melbourne data is avialable from oztivo however, see below

Hmmm bigdonk ... But kultaras isn't using epgStream.net as he's sourcing his data direct via BRP!?!

Hi Steve,

Try an 'Add Listings to Channel' to re-associate your 7 and 9 listings (Tasks->Settings->TV->Guide).

We don't check this this part of the forum too much, so if you think you might have an Free*EPG issue then post a new thread here too : http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/comm...rt-discussion/

Thanks,

hhmm, streamEpg, like other freeEPG users, the author of this thread has an issue with freeEPG, and clarification was provided to him as too the source of ch 7 and 9 being clobbered.

we still have no explanation given of the need to re-maps channels, and why the addition of a separate ch in the freeEPG/Oztivo data feed has clobbered ch 7 and 9.

perhaps next time when a similar event occurs, freeEPG might like to take care and advise end users the need to re-map channels.

Hey bigdonk,

We really appreciate the feedback.

You're right ... We should try even harder and triple our efforts to maintain and develop this free guide gateway service. We probably should be a little more responsive in our support forums as well ...

Sister Thread: no epg data for ch 7, 7HD, 9 and 9HD

Thanks,
