OzTiVo and daylight saving in WA

Hi Guys,
Tricky one, and this is probably the best place for it.
I use ICE TV for my media center.
However, I use OzTiVo and OzTiVoextreme for Fox data.

Since gone to daylight saving in WA, the data seems to be an hour out.

Not sure if the data is incorrect on OzTiVo, or if oztivoextreme is the problem, or else where.

OzTiVo site is SOOOO different than when I signed up a couple of years. Thought there may have been a preference section where I could set my time zone, etc, but cant find it

Any ideas what to check??

Dont Panic!!

Sorted it out. EPGCenter has a place to enter offsett for time zone. VERY obscure place, so was hard to find.

All works great again.

Re: OzTiVo and daylight saving in WA

Hi Moby,

Im having the same problem atm. I put my windows time ahead 1 hour and now my EPG data is out. Don't remember having a problem last year, but I did rebuild the media centre since then so perhaps ive stuffed something...

I went to the OzTivo site and I couldnt find anything there to set Daylight Savings Time. Im using the OZTivo data to feed Bladerunner, perhaps the fix is in Bladerunner and not OZTivo?

Im must be doing something really wrong since I would have expected more people to have problems with DLS than just you and me. Is the fix for DLS in MCE05? Or have people all gone to ICETV and there is no problems with DLS?

Confused

Doesn't your PC automatically change the time ahead 1 hour? If so, and you also did it, could it possibly be that your computers time is incorrect?

No it didnt change automatically. I went and checked to see if it was setup to automatically connect to a timeserver, and it says it was. Confusing. It can't be updating the time properly...

Hi NailZ,

OK, OzTiVo data isnt the prob.
I am quessing that you dont have your clock set to right zone, and the tick under adjust daylight saving??

I say that as you said you changed the time. If daylight saving is enabled, ya computer will automatically go up and down the hour as required. I watched mine do it. went from 1.59am to 3am. (no, I am not a sick puppy, I was at work)

If it doesnt update automatically, it will also screw with ya Outlook appointments...
