No sign of Sci-Fi channel with OzTivo

Hey everyone

I've been trying now for about a week and a half to get the Sci-Fi channel to appear in my EPG. I use Bladerunner Pro 3.5 and OzTivo and have correctly added the channel (as I have for all other channels thus far). I have tried to add the channel manually and still no go.

I've checked the OzTivo guide and it definitely appearing as a populated channel.

Any ideas?

We're pushing ozTiVo guide data and Sci-Fi data is available! Have you added it to your local ChannelInfo.xml file?

Re: No sign of Sci-Fi channel with OzTivo

I have had Sci-Fi listings since they were on there, this will answer both your questions

1. login to tvguide.org.au make shure you add Sci-Fi
2. Edit you channellistings.xml make shure the channel id="Sci-Fi"
3. if you are using the reg hack Coz all you need to do is add the missing channel, then add the listings to that channel.

Re: No sign of Sci-Fi channel with OzTivo

So you removed the channel.xml file out of the ehome/bladerunner pro (whatever it's called) directory completely? I just moved it into a temp dir in case I stuffed it upped. I then reran bladerunner from the desktop to get all new file data, let it do its thing. Went back into MCE and did a guide update and low and behold it was all there.

Re: No sign of Sci-Fi channel with OzTivo

Hi Coz,

I'm not sure how the channelinfo.xml is structured (I'll look tonight when I get home), but maybe there's an old channel in your OzTivo preferences with the same channel number or something. What does your channelinfo.xml look like?

Post it here and some one can help you out.

Lester
