OzTivo error

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can help.

I have set up OzTivo exactly according to the instructions. I have set my preferences as XMLTVand have my preferred channels along the top of the web page ok.

However, when Bladerunner executes it says "Executing Oztivo command" and after 2 secs or so says "Found 0 channels" and then crashes. I am definitely getting to the Oztivo server as if I change my password it failes with unauthenticated or something.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: OzTivo error

As of 30 mins ago it was still giving me that error. The only difference to you is that I have Foxtel Digital channels as well.

I can't see anything else I'm doing wrong

Re: OzTivo error

try doing a couple of fta channels to start with to see if it works then start adding to see where it breaks.

Re: OzTivo error

I'm new to this so maybe a newbies point of view may help

Have you set your preferences on the website as per the isntruction given

username and password are case snesitive

command line is

OzTivo u:/<WikiUsername> p:/<password> d:/<no of days to download> o:/<output file>

Should not need anymore than that. Just remember the username is FirstnameLastname (not the capitals).

Hope that helps somehow

Mick

Re: OzTivo error

Yes I'm following the instructions exactly. I am getting to the OzTivo server but downloading nothing.

I'll try the commerical channels only and see if that improves things.....

Re: OzTivo error

I'm sure, I'm using the capitals which is what I log into the site with and it works.

Re: OzTivo error

Generally if you're having problems it's a good idea to start with only one or two channels, check it works, and then if it does add a bunch more. Tediously repeat until you track down the problem channel.

Re: OzTivo error

Id hate to actually ask this but did you setup the channels you needed on the oztivo site? also have you created the channel list under C:\windows\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\QuickGuide\channel info.xml remember you need to use the channel ID's, oztivo does.

Re: OzTivo error

To Tyrone27:

Yes I set the channels up on the OzTivo web page and yes I have the Channelinfo.xml in the Bladerunner directory. The Channelinfo is checked and correct. It's not even trying to download anything from th Oztivo website - just says "Found 0 Channels".
