MythTV and Foxtel/HDTV

Hey Guys,

i'm just about to attempt building my first Media Center PC and i really want to be able to record both HDTV via a digital tuner and also Foxtel digital, which we all know comes through and analogue stream. Windows MCE doesn't allow both Digital and Analogue tuners to run in unison. so i was wondering if MythTV would give me the flexibility to record both streams.

I'm fairly experienced with Linux. but im not an expert so plain English responses would be really good.

thank you in advance.

Re: MythTV and Foxtel/HDTV

You can use both simultaneously in Linux, Mediaportal and MCE (with a hack, have a search for it here).
