Media Portal and Foxtel HELP!

I need some serious help. I just built my HTPC and have no idea how to get foxtel working with my Tuner Card. I am using a Hauppauge 1300 MCE card connected to my foxtel box with the composite cables that used to plug in to my TV. Is this correct or should I be using SVIDEO?

I have no idea how to program in the channels and get the IR blaster to change channels on the Foxtel box so if anyone could help me or even point me in the right direction it would be very greatly appreciated.

I would suggest going to the Media Portal site and having a look in their forums. I'm pretty sure they'd be able to help with your issue.

I worked it out and it ended up taking 2 days to build it up. After all that I found it was way too unstable for everyday use got rid of it and installed VMC. I am very happy with VMC and suggest to anyone looking at using media portal to wait until they sort out all the stability and crashing issues. VMC took me 2 hours to get setup with a base install with guide etc setup and I have had no crashes or any problems at all.
