Question Twin HDTV PVR with ETHERNET

I have been waiting for a simple MCE replacement and saw this in JB
Teac HDRM7250 pdf
Twin HD 250G PVR with "Ethernet".

All looks good just run a NAS media server.

Except not sure on the EPG did say 7 day EPG on it's sticker in store I think? It has internet but does that mean an IceEPG? I like my series record ability
Anyone played with or looked into one of these? What are its limits? H.264 was mentioned on sticker would that be play only or also recording HDTV?
I haggled the JB guy below $900

Havent read it all but seams it has the rights features that we want but the implementation isnt good eg Timeshift filling the harddrive leaving minimal free space ~500meg

Re: Twin HDTV PVR with ETHERNET

If I were going to take a punt on an HD PVR, I'd probably go with a Topfield purely because I know they'll work hard on any problems (& I understand they do have a few).

I've tested quite a few PVRs for a mate's shop over the last few years & they've all been pretty disappointing . I think there'll be rapid improvement over the next year or so (the new thing at HN mentioned in Lester's link is the start). For a laugh, have a look at my review of the Nextwave PVR-6900 - it's not that much worse than most on the market.
