An MCE alternative Extender??

Anyone had a look at this as an option yet?

Looks like DVR-MS SD only.

Could be an option if you don't use MCE for live or time shifted TV.

That's pretty odd.. If it can play DVR-MS@480, and it can play MPEG2@1080, why can't it play DVR-MS@1080? It's not like DVR-MS@1080 would be much harder to play than MPEG2@1080..

This could be an interesting option for those not wanting (allowed to have) an Xbox 360 though
