DMA2200 Cannot connect

Hi all, I'm a newbie. I've just bought a new Linksys DMA2200, was very excited. I've spent the last 24 hours trying to get it to connect. Initially I tried wirelessly with a WRT610N router, no luck. I'm now wired to the router. I go through the setup, on the DMA2200 & the computer, everything's good, the Windows Media Centre welcome screen flashes up and then cuts out. On the DMA it reverts to the "Extender disconnected. Would you like to reconnect?" screen. I reconnect the Windows Media Centre welcome screen flashes up and then cuts out again. And so it goes. I am at my wits end, please help. - Pariah

I'm replying to myself because I have identified the problem and it was my fault, not the DMA2200. I turned off the "Security Centre Alerts" in Windows Vista. Problem solved! The DMA2200 now connects perfectly both wired and wirelessly. So far it looks like a great piece of kit.
