Pressure for firmware update

How do we go about getting a new feature added as firmware?

I can live with my inability to connect via wireless, but I cannot live with magic packet at start up!

I really need this feature to allow my VMC to goto S3 when not in use.

Do we need to call Linksys? The email support is really poor, 7 days on from my wireless query and no real response

Anyone else need this functionality?

Yes I need this functionality and not having it is a royal pain in the behind..

I would have thought it should be a standard tick in the box on the list of Extender mandatory features.

Have you got anywhere?

I did not

I bit the bullet and run my VMC PC in away mode 24/7 now. I calculated that it would cost $30/yr extra given my reduced rate evening tarif, so I can afford it.

However, still peeved that I am "forced" to leave a PC running basically full tilt when not in use.
