First, sorry if this is a repeat but, I have already searched without getting very good results.
Linksys seems pretty dear, so I'm wondering what else is there? I am happy to plug my laptop into the TV. Or does this community strongly believe Linksys is the very best option for watching/recording TV onto your laptop with Media Center (of which I have 2002 SP2)?
To watch/record free to air TV on your laptop all you need is a USB tuner module like this. The Linksys DMA2100/2200 are extenders - they are used to stream audio/video/TV from a HTPC to a device like a TV or stereo.
