OK well I've been using the DMA2200 for a while now and for the most part I'm reasonably happy with it especially since the firmware upgrade. The upgrade certainly made the menu a little more responsive but apart from that there hasn't really been much done.
An issue which I have started to find a little bit irritating is the propensity for the picture to stop responding part way through playing a video file. I have used FourCC changer to change all of my DivX videos to Xvid and at least now for the most part I can play them but I find that after a while I have to restart the DMA2200 because of this issue. I also notice that skip does not work correctly on a good percentage of files. The issue being that instead of skipping forward as normal, some of them skip straight to the end or even skip back to the beginning when I'm trying to skip forward. This really does seem to be an area where linksys have not done their homework very well and one can only hope there will be another firmware update to address it. Unfortunately I fear that I may be whistling dixie on that happening.
Mine locks up so frequently - especially when changing channels, that I've had to shelve it. I'm running gigethernet throughout the whole network, and I've done the firmware update.
If your live TV is all ok, did you do anything special in your configuration of the TV cards?
cheers

Mine is mostly fine and I didn't do anything particularly special. It really just worked out of the box and I am also using Gigabit Ethernet via a Gigabit switch. Mind you the picture does occasionally pixellate mostly on HD live TV but it's not enough to worry me enormously since the extender is really just a bedroom machine and I don't use it all that often.

Mine is usually fine, but on long ones it sometimes pixelates, getting worse until it's unwatchable, and you have to stop and resume playback to clear it. A different problem to the avi file playback issue.
