DMA2200/2100 remote

As others have mentioned, the remote that comes with the DMAs (2200 in my case) is pretty ordinary.
I particularly dislike the fact that the guide button is right at the front of the remote and is awkward to press.
Also hate the flimsy feel.
Have previously been using the xbox 360 remote for ages and it feels right, solid and intuitive.
Any suggestions for an alternative?
Coma.

Logitech Harmony (880 if you can get it and definitely not 1000i) It will also let you control all of your other devices without needing individual remotes.

You can't get the 880 new anymore - the 785 is the direct replacement.

I also noticed in the paper yesterday that there's a new model called the Harmony One - I haven't seen one out & about yet though.

Set up is pretty much the same for all Harmony models (i.e. pretty easy).

Quite right unless you manage to find a vendor who has left-over stock. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the 785 although I bought my GF one and it does the job. The 1000i looks great but really is not very ergonomic requiring two hands to operate most of the time. I have been looking at the Harmony one since it does have a touch screen LCD but I am not sure anyone has stock just yet. When they do I think this might be a big improvement over the 785.
