EPG Problem

Hi Guys

I have had my EPG up and running fantastically for two weeks but then i was asked by MCE if i wanted to up date so i ran the update via MCE but nothing happened when i went to add the guides to the channels.

I then manually ran Bladerunner and waited for it to finish and went into MCE and went through the proccess of adding a guide again.

When the scan had finished i ended up with only 4 channels insted of 12 i think i had.

What have i done wrong?

Is there a way to automate this?

Re: EPG Problem

Hi Glenncol

I don't know about your specific issues, but for myself, I am using FreeXml. This program tries to only get what it needs (instead of getting ALL), but does seem to have some kind of issues in this regard. I also had the problem where it worked for a week or two and then failed.

To keep EPG running smoothly and autonomously, I have created a batch file to delete *.* from the EPG data before running FreeXml. This makes it all work all by itself for me.

Simon
