"Whats On?" Movie Review/Preview plugin?

Folks, just wondering if anyone out there is writing a MCE plugin to browse movie reviews/previews/session times for the latest movies currently in cinemas, or if one already exists... ?
Would be a kickass plugin if one existed.... the movies section on ninemsn would be perfect as a datasource, why not grab more of their data and **** them off a little more, ay?

Nick.

Re: "Whats On?" Movie Review/Preview plugin?

Its a bit of an obvious one, surprised noone has done anything yet.. the closest I can find is My Portal (US of course) and TVTonic (only really has trailers, US again, of course).
You could configure the plugin for internet connection, location (for your preferred cinema).

The main page could have a brief listing of movies that are on (a small thumbnail picture, cast and classification). Select a movie from the list to go to more detail, which could have the usual data; director, cast, movie review rating, duration, genre plus a full review (and user reviews maybe). Add a small window to show the trailer for the film, and a table at the bottom of the page for full session times..

Damn, it sounds so good I wana write one now..

There is a plug-in that provides exactly this functionality for Meedio. I have used it and it kicks ass. It even has full Aussie support (thats a first). Not sure about MCE though
