Cool mce 2005 tv guide data error 14

To whom it may concern
About a month ago I found this new free TV guide on the Australian Media Centre website so I decided to try it out and it used the yahoo TV guide page which was alright but when I went to record things on my media centre computer a couple of the channels went from colour to black and white don’t know why that happened so then I decided to go back to blade runner pro 3.5 with the Oz Tivo extreme and everything works perfect again the TV stations are staying colour like they should but when it comes downloading the guide data I get this error message unknown discovery service error 14 so I checked my internet clock it said a error occurred getting the status of the last synchronization the handle is invalid but when I first turn on my comp the internet time synchronizers perfectly then when I run the TV setup guide it gives me that error I mentioned and it asks me if I want try again so I click on no then close the media centre down and check the internet time to see if I can synchronize it but I cant so I don’t know what is going on or how to fix it I have checked loads of different sites on the web about it they helped a little but didn’t solve the under lying problem so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help fix this problem or should I call Microsoft tech support to get them to help me with the synchronization problem with the internet clock any help in any form would be a grand help to me hope this info helps you ou tto help m esolve my little problem i have

Does vista still allow you to run "net time /querysntp" from a command prompt ?
if it does you should also be able to use "net time /setsntp:time.windows.com"

Hope this helps

Is it a legit copy of Vista or have you run the patch that stops the countdown clock.

I suspect this may be where your problem lies and you are better off waiting till 30 Jan.
