Video Bookmark plugin for MCE - does one exist??

Hi,

I was just wondering if a video bookmark plugin for MCE exists

In other words I want to be able to save the position where I am up to in a movie or a TV recording and then when I want to continue watching the video at a later date I can start the recording and hit a button on the remote and go directly to where I was up to

I can do this with my Topfield PVR for recorded TV progs

Please let me know if there is one and a link would be good -thanks alot

Verjen,

Try Bookmarkit by Treason - LINK, great for divx, mpeg

TV recordings (DVR-MS Files), always resume at the last watched position and don't need a plugin. Just watch a show, stop it. Return to the TV recordings page select the show and the 'resume' option will be displayed. Should work for all files kept in the recorded tv section not just the last one.

Later,

Nudge

Try Impact's Playlist Generator http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/comm...enerator.html?

Impact originally put it up for download at TGB, but it seems to have got lost so I reposted it here (post #4).

Verjen,

Yep would have to agree with GR, I use Impacts IPG solely for music and kids videos and have setup icons in more programs to activate various set up for IPG. I have tried ALL the rest and nothing comes close.

There currently is no 1 APP that will give you the features you want (like music playlists) where you can easily create then shuffle each time you replay it.

Other options (google them):

- WMP 10 or 11 - create the playlists manually here and then save into my vids.
- Treasons - File Browser - will play all songs within a folder, no random function
- Video Playlist creator - the green button website - will let you set up video playlists from the gui and change the order but no random - BEST GUI APP
- and a few others

Later,

Nudge

Maybe I should make random a function in MCE File Browser 2.0

If there's a need for it, I'll do it but I haven't gotten much feedback other than from Mick

Maybe you guys can help me beta test
