Video thumbnails

hi guys,

i'm writing a new plugin in asp.net to view downloaded tv (xvids/avis) - Similar to one written for meedio.

Eventually it'll actually get content from tv.com. I've got the basics working, but want video thumbnails for each avi in the folders. Can anyone help out on either how to grab these at runtime (and cache them ideally) or to get them from the thumbs.db file - all via asp.net ?

Cheers !
(hi from the UK btw - been lurking a while and this is by far the best MCE board i've found)
