Question Antec NSK2480 supported wieght??

Quick question,

Does any know if the Antec NSK2480 will support around 25Kg being place on top of it?

NB not covering the vents, and evenly spread over the middle part of the case.

Thanks

Arkalore

I'd say that something with 4 feet wouldn't be a problem. Something flat would be OK, but there are vent holes over where the PCIe slots would be - obviously for a graphics card. If you're using onbaord graphics, I can't see that you'd need them (they're not huge holes).

Re: Antec NSK2480 supported wieght??

Justin,

That was pretty much what I was thinking, I was just a little concerned if the case has a design flaw that prevents heavy loading.

I will be putting the TV (all 25kg of it) on the case tonight, so I guess I will find out,

Arkalore.

Re: Antec NSK2480 supported wieght??

I had a bit of a look at mine a bit earlier & it's pretty sturdy. There's a front to back brace (the wall between the PS/Optical drive chamber & the main chamber), so the lid won't cave in, so if everything else holds up, it'll be fine.

One thing I have seen when loading up multiple peices of hifi hardware is the rubber bottom of the feet 'bonding' to the shelf they're on - might be something to consider.
