It was a nice feature, the motherboard PWR_LED header is exactly what its designed for, but forwhatever reason (Im guessing the light draws more power than most headers provide, but I had 3 Ultrabright LED's on my old case and they worked fine) they decided to run it off the PSU, meaning when its in sleep mode, the case looks like its off which annoys me since I like to know if its asleep, or if its off.
I wanted to put some GD02 pics up for you but don't know how to embed them in the post
They need to already have a url to embed them (you click the yellow square with the mountains & put the url in the box), but you can attach them - just go to manage attachments when doing an advanced reply (not a quick reply).

I have a passively cooled PSU, 120W, Powers my G33 mobo, 1 12cm fan, 3 3.5" drives, a 2.5" and a E2160, The PSU is about the side of a credit card.
Any links or pics?
I only have G33 mobo, 2 x 80mm fans, 2 x 3.5" HDDs, 1 x ODD, & a e4400 to power. My ATI 2600XT GFX card does not require a separate power plug. I'm currently using a NeoHE 430w to power it all now but wanted to find something with better airflow since my case is so cramped. I've been looking for a modular with bottom mounted 120mm fan but the good ones seem to be > 500w.
I could go non-modular but that would mean jamming all the cables between PSU and HDDs further restricting airflow.
Theres an even smaller one but its only 120w, But it all depends on what power brick you get to power it, the vast majority are 120w but you can get 200w ones (I have one, a old Dell notebook brick, but I stuck with the 120w anyway because it provides enough power).

Thanks for the link. So it just plugs directly on to ATX connector on the motherboard (i.e. you don't need to screw it down to the case)? Do you still need to plug in a 4-pin ATX if you use one of these?
It would be great it thy gave you 2 SATA connectors but I guess you can always use an adapter to split off the molex connector?
Did you have any issues getting one shipped over?

Reason: Extra question added.
You can buy splitters / adaptors for Molex - Sata for like $3 :P. You can either connect it straight to the motherboard, or if you go with the 200w version (Somewhat pointless given most bricks only do 120w anyway) you will generally need to get an ATX extension cable as the ram blocks it, the 120w version dosent though.
Hard to believe something so small can replace a conventional PSU! I notice they mention mini-ITX boards but I assume from your experience that a m-ATX G33 board will work fine as well. Do you have any of your fans powered off the mobo?
I have 2 x 80mm ones running off a splitter that connects to the SYS_FAN header on my mobo, mainly to reduce cable clutter but also so I can monitor the fans. I'm not sure how accurate the readings are when you have 2 off the one header though.
Hi, This unit completely mimicks the function of a normal PSU, It uses an external AC-DC brick to convert the power into a useable source, and then splits the 12V being received into 5v and 3.3v which isnt all that tricky, What you have to be aware of is how many Amps each rail is drawing, From memory its something like a max of 5v and 3.3v are - 6A (Max 8A), and 12v is 7A (Max 10A) Keeping in mind the Max's cannot be sustained for more than 60 seconds.
Anyway, This will happily run any motherboard that dosent exceed those (Any motherboard realistically) But its a good idea to use low power parts, Micro ATX are a good choice in general, For CPU's the E5300 will draw the least, with the E7200 a close second. Chipsets (The type of motherboard you want) For integrated graphics, you should be looking for G31, G33, G35, G43, G45. The G43/G45 series have better power saving functionality though (Marginally) but considerably more graphics horsepower.
Yes, I have 2 fans running off mine at the moment, a HDD fan (8cm Enermax) and a System fan which doubles as my CPU fan (Scythe 12cm 800rpm model)

Reason: Forgot about the fans
I'm going to build a system soon, and need a case to meet the following criteria:
Silver colour - so it matches my other gear.
Supports 64-bit - I only mention this because some of the Silverstone cases said they were specifically designed for 64-bit, or even had different models for 32 and 64-bit.
Remote control - preferably integrated, and must come with handset from same manufacturer. If it can also support a remote keyboard/mouse - that'd be a big help.
You haven't said which size board the case needs to support; ATX, mATX, or mini-ITX?
Any size restrictions due to cabinets or other furniture that has to accomodate the case?
3 drives might be a toughy unless you go for a conventional PC case, most HTPC specific cases support only 1 or 2 3.5" drives. You may be able to fit a 3rd in by using a floppy drive/card reader bay or by using a laptop drive somwhere.

silverstone lc20 can fit 6 hard disks and fits an atx mobo. the only drawback is its height which is approx 17cm high......too big for a lot of cabinets. comes in both black and silver
