Silvertsone LC18

Heyas,

So, the reason for choosing a case with the touch LCD is because I want to be able to play music and change songs\albums\artist without having to turn the screen on. Is this at all possible to do through the 7" LCD or is it just a gimmick and something I will regret later?

Re: Silvertsone LC18

I been using a LC18 for almost a year now. Unless it is mounted at an accessible height then the touchscreen is useless. I have it in a cabinet underneath the TV & I only use the touchscreen when we are dinner entertaining & I don't want to switch on the plasma. Its a pain to have to crouch down and poke around but it does work perfectly for what it is. 99% of the time I don't even use the touchscreen though because of its inconvenient location.
