Media Center
IR Blaster No red light

Hiya,

Just trying to setup my Foxtel connection in Media centre.

I'm at the point where i setting up the MS remote to change foxtel channels.

But its not working, I have tried both IR buds placed in front of the foxtel box and no red light flashes on any of them.

Meida centre picks up my foxtel remote ok so it knows what set-top box i'm using and the ms remote works for everything else.

Just wondering if I push a button the ms remote should the ir bud light up?
Is there some Driver i need to download for the blaster to work correctly, or have a bought a dud Msoft sensor and remote.

Cheers

UPDATE

I have managed to get this going.
If anybody else has the same problem.

I had to remove the Remote reciever drivers under USB in Device Manager
Restart after you remove the drivers(for some reason it would not work if i did not restart)
After picking up the device again, The Ir buds started to work.

( i tried changing slots and removing the driver earlier with no luck, only worked after deleting and restarting)
