Antec Fusion V2 with Vista - Remote not working!

Hi there Guys,

I have just bought a shiny new Antec Fusion V2 running Vista Ultimate and it's pretty darn good thus far. There is however one very big problem. The Fusion MCE Remote ( Black one with purple buttons) does not seem to work with either the Antec or the included IR. I am not really sure where to start with this, buy a new remote or stick with this one? All suggestions will be a[appreciated!

Re: Antec Fusion V2 with Vista - Remote not working!

Hmmm, I have been looking into this and am thinking of buying a Logitech Harmony 525 just to get things up and running, what do people think - is this a good remote to use as a media centre remote with Vista?

Its a fine remote, its not as fancy looking as the 800 or 1000 series but will do what you want.
Im not sure if the Antec fusion receiver doubles as a microsoft receiver, if it does not look at some remote software like girdler but free versions that map keyboard keys to a standard remote.

Not really 100% sure why the receiver is not working, i have the antec fusion v1 but maybe try not having the reciever connected to motorboard/usb part boot into windows and then plug it in, i know when my microsoft one plays up unplugging and replugging fix's it.

Re: Antec Fusion V2 with Vista - Remote not working!

Cheers,

I am actually thinking of the following:

http://www.soundgraph.com/Eng_/Produ...=1&leftMenu=13

It **looks** like it might allow mouse like navigation, but we will see what they say. What is this girdler software you speak of?

Re: Antec Fusion V2 with Vista - Remote not working!

Hello thewaves,

Are you able to get your Fusion V2 to resume from sleep with the VFD still working. Everytime I resume from sleep both the VFD and MCE2005 Remote have stopped functioning. And need reboot to fix.

Cheers,

Tim
