strange ms remote problem

i changed the graphics card and added more ram to my mce2005 machine last week, and since that day if i press the pc button on the remote the mediacenter will ignores all of the other buttons until i reboot the pc

i have set the ask me what to do and even to do nothing but same problem

killing ehtray and restarting mce is no help either

the remote and sensor is not to blaim, as it works fine in my vista laptop

and the pc or mce is not hung as it works fine from vnc


any suggestions

sorted


arservice was disabled, never heard of it before, so i assumed it was something to do with some of the mce alternatives that i installed on the pc before settling with mce 2005
