Accent HT101 case -VFD doesn't work

Bought one of these cases many months ago. It's got a VFD display powered by iMon software and the supplied iMon Wireless Freedom remote. The unit connects internally to usual usb and power control/HDD mb connections. This unit also connects to the LPT port, a cable passes out thru the case to the LPT port at the rear. I've never been able to get the VFD to work. Have tried all the various iMon software updates, tweaked the LTP port setting in BIOS and Device Manager but to no evail. Has anybody got experience of this case and can offer any suggested as to why the VFD won't work.

PS. All other functions work OK, eg Power on/off and remote navigation of iMon Median S/W

Have contacted Soundgraph (iMon) who say none of their VFD units has ever used a parallel port connection, so it would appear that this VFD unit is an OEM design using iMon firmware, software and remote.

Cheers

Re: Accent HT101 case -VFD doesn't work

Gotta love this site. The "Related Thread" list pointed me to Frontview which I just installed and voila-- display is now working.

Now I just need to get the IR receiver to understand the MCE remote...

Does this mean I'll have to thank myself?
