Antec Fusion IR sensor

Ok, not really sure if this is the best place for this thread, but here it is.

Still in the process of getting my new system on its feet and have run into a small problem. I'm using an Antec 430 Fusion case, which come with the funky LCD and IR sensor. Now I also bought a Duratech MCE remote, which comes with its own USB sensor. The remote works fine with the USB sensor, but it wont talk to the built in IR sensor. I'm not sure if the sensor is working or not, or maybe just using different frequencies?

Any advice?

Re: Antec Fusion IR sensor

You need to install and configure the software that comes with the remote. Also make sure you have plugged the Fusion panel into the USB connector. And make sure you have an MCE compatible remote.

Re: Antec Fusion IR sensor

As it turned out the remote was a POS anyway: non existant range, sticking buttons, wouldnt recognise the Antec sensor. Ended up just replacing it with a MS remote, which works fine.

Re: Antec Fusion IR sensor

I would love to know if you have it working with the MS remote. I can not get mine to talk to the antec IR at all. All I get is "Not defined command" - an irritating way of saying "Thanks for your signal, but I do not know what to do with it"

I have not been able to find any reason why the MS remote will not work with the Antec IR - if anyone has got it working I would love to know how you got it working...

BTW - I had issue with the VFD too, but resolved it by downloading "LCDwriter" from here - Andy VT - You Rock!!! LCDwriter fixed all the VFD isues and displayed everything I thought it should.
