device not present in XPMCE

Hi there

I have two PC's one with XPMCE other with XPpro..

DVD decrypter reports DVD drive not present on XPMCE PC using SPTI or WNASPI.. but is okay on the XPpro PC with same two interfaces.... adaptec checker shows all interfaces are installed and working correctly.. both the machines are set to 'limited user' account but if I change the XPMCE PC to an administrator user account the device is detected okay, so I assume its an rights issue somewhere....?!?!?

Any ideas anyone..
