Thumbs up MusicalFolders v1.3.5

This version has got some fixes regarding finding folders to play from.
Also added a test page so you can see why any folder is not being shown

Enjoy...

Re: MusicalFolders v1.3.5

Considering i've been using this for about, ooh, 15 minutes, can i be tremendously presumptuous and suggest a feature? I've got my collection sorted by:

Genre/Artist/Albums/Tracks

and I have 125 Artists in the list. In My Music you can press a letter on the keyboard and it scrolls to the first entry for that letter. It would be great if i could do the same thing with Musical Folders

cheers
nathan

Re: MusicalFolders v1.3.5

Deadeye great job on the add on,much better than the native MY Music. If i could suggest a possible wish list item.
It would be nice to be able to select a folder and queue it up while another is already playing.,beacause at the moment if you select another folder it will play it and not continue with the first selection.
Anyway if it was possible great, but again great mod for MCE.

Re: MusicalFolders v1.3.5

Great work. It looks perfekt. But i have a problem with the path. I have a linkage in my Folder myMusik to another folder on a other HD and i don´t need TV Records in MusicalFolders. I found nothing in the webconfig toi change this.

Can i change the folders in the web.config ?? I found no example in the forum.

Can you explain for normal (or dummi) computer user?? PLEASE !!!

Greetings from Germany

Re: MusicalFolders v1.3.5

xander,

Yes i agree that the instructions in the settings page are a bit vague.
I have updated this in my current dev version here is a snippet.

To setup your Musical Folders:
* Go to your home screen and select My Music
* Press your More Info button or Right Click and select Add Music
* Follow wizard to add/remove directories

I hope that helps.

Also news is that i have implemented a MP3 ID tag option so you can see the title of the MP3 instead of the file name. No idea how to do the same on the wma's though.
Hmm

Re: MusicalFolders v1.3.5

With the MCE Remote, one can get to "My Music" with a single press of a button.

Does anyone know how it would be possible to have "One Button" access to My Musical Folders instead ?
