All,

Ok I have fixed some bugs again...

This one is a lot better.
I have spent some time on the CSS
I have also fixed Play All button once and for all
Also made it a bit more mouse friendly

Awesome. Its great now, looks good, plays great. I don't think I have any more problems with it, but I have one or two suggestions;

How hard would it be to change the file name to the ID tag song name ? Might be a nice option of those of us with a well tagged collection, but I am thinking it might be tricky.

In the same vain, how hard would it be to drop the .mp3 fro the filename for display purposes?

Either of these would make excellent options, if they are possible.

Also, the link to your Blog, perhaps you should have a second blog page that is formatted for viewing through media centre, that your plugin can link to. That would be cool :-)

Now I just have to track down the guy from MCE Software who owes me a rego code, and I should hopefully be able to move your plugin to the main MCE menu. Actually, an option in your plugin to do that would be awesome :-)

Just an observation....

Wouldn't making it read ID3 Tags instead of the folders be pointless, as the whole purpose for this program was to do the opposite. The reason being for this, is the "My Music" feature within MCE does the ID3 Tag thing, and this program was designed with the intention of avoiding that... ?

If you've got a well tagged selection (as I do), use "My Music"... It works perfectly well...

I'm glad "My Music" works well for you. It certainly doesn't work well for me. I much prefer the folder view that "Musical Folders" provides, especially the graphical album view.

Once I drill down to the track level, it would just be nice to have the option of displaying the tagged song name, as a lot of my MP3's are file named XX - AAAAA BBBBB.mp3. Its purely a cosmetic thing.

Now, if I could just get my registration key for My Web News, I would be setup.....

While I think of it....

My MP3 collection is sorted like this;

m:\Artist\Album\tracks.mp3

The Album folders all show the album cover, which is very cool.

Can I dig out a photo of the artist and include that someone in the artist folder and have that pic show up at that level ? If so, what do I need to know to make that work?

thx for the app...however - have following issues: slow start up (seems to scan whole folder (approx 400 albums, 1400 songs) everytime I start it up. and then it seems to hang ..on next click it minimises MCE - to return 5 mins later with musical folder view

No reponse when clicking on folders .. have to CTrl Alt Del to shut MCE down?

Excellent App - 1.3.1 has ironed out all of those queue probs I was having - great work.

LordPhantom, simply drop the file named folder.jpg into the \artist directory - such as a band logo or pic and it should show up in MF.

Thanks Nudge. This will give me something else to spend hours doing :-)

For some reason "My Web News" plugin doesn't "see" either MusicalFolders or MCE-Auction to let me move them to the main menu. Once I find a way to do that, I will be in heaven :-)

great to hear people are enjoying the app..

ID tags.. well in the future main thing i want to fix is to get the folders that you already have setup in MCE so no setup is required.

Having a setup option that puts your plugin on the start menu would be awesome, especially if it could also turn off the default My Music as well.... :-)
