HDMI failure

Hi All

Been awhile since i actually logged on as i have been waiting for bits and pieces to arrive, plus moving house hasnt helped.

Finally built the HTPC adn seems to work ok. Having a few tuner issues but i think it is more the ned for a new antenna.

Main issue is my Sony TV isnt picking up the HDMI at all. I normally lways have picture but i dont have sound. Sometimes it comes but rarely. Have spent all week trying to figure what is going on. Can any of you guys lend me at trying to figure out what is going wrong.

Sorry guys, didnt attach any info.
Case: Thermaltake Mozart IP with Media Lab
Board: Gigbyte GA-MA78G-DS3H
CPU: AMD Phenom X3 64
RAM: 2x 1Gb 1066 DDR2
HDD: Seagate 750Gb SATA
Tuner: FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital4
Video Card: ATI Radeon 3200 (in-built)
Optical Drive: Pioneer Blu-Ray BDC-S02BK SATA
Remote: Logitch DiNovo Mini + iMON Pad
TV: Sony Bravia W Seris LCD (HDMI)

Also having trouble getting the iMON remote to work. Any suggestions?

Re: HDMI failure

What ATI drivers are you using at the moment.

I can recall some people having issues with the 780G chipset and Sony TV's. Have a look around here to see if there is a thread.

Try updating to the latest 8.9 Catalyst drivers. I think there was an EDID issue, but may have been fixed in the updated drivers.

Re: HDMI failure

I have an in-built HD3200 in my mi\ainboard. Updated to 8.9 when i built it, so i have gone back to 8.6. Seems ok, but cant test properly as the Tuner card is now not working. Will remove and re-install today. ANy otehr help from anyone else in regards to this issue is still welcome.
