Asus P5Q-Em

Hi there All

I have been looking into creating a HTPC for a while now and have been lurking around here for a while, so this is my first post.

I could not see it elsewhere, so I thought I would let everyone know that pccasegear put the ASUS P5Q-EM on their website today for $209.70

I ordered parts for a complete system, but as the HVR2200 is out of stock till mid next week, I will not get it all sent until then.

Anyway I have been reading that people having been having quite good success with these boards and Intel are really working hard on the drivers. So hi to all and hope all your HTPC building ventures go well

Thanks for that, I am proceeding cautiously, however over on "another forum" people have been having success with the G45.

The repeater issue has been fixed recently and I believe Bluray playback has been successful, mind you, the process of building a HTPC is fraught with danger for someone like me who has never buikt one before.
