Intel DG965WH

Hi,

I built my first Vista MC about a year and a half ago using the Intel DG965WHMKR motherboard. The problem I have is sleep mode. It turns on to do the recordings or maintenance things but it does not go back to sleep.
I would like to find out from people that are using the same MOBO if they have the same issue or other issues. I am at the stage to reinstall OS and I dont know if I should do some hardware upgrade as well.
My specs are in signature.

Thank you.

Danny

Re: Intel DG965WH

I have found that sometimes the S3 (sleep state) isnt set properly. I am using an Intel board myself and had a similar issue until I found the MCE Standby Tool: http://slicksolutions.eu/mst.shtml

Since using the tool, I have had no issues with the system waking up / going back to sleep. Hopefully it will fix your issue as well.
