You also can't get a mATX board with no IGP. If you want to go intel in a 2480, get a board with the features you want and bung a graphics card in there. Forget about whatever IGP is on it.
My latest plan is to get a Zalman HD135 which is the same size as a 2480, but fits a ATX board inside. Pricy, and might be a bit of work to make it quiet, but I like a challenge.
What about the Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-DS2H? It's an AMD based solution but with a superior HTPC (in my opinion) gfx chipset.
Well the fact that I was planning on using the e6600 processor I already have in it!

Vlad, did you not read the part where an ATX HTPC costs about 5 times what an mATX one does? Its MUCH cheaper to buy a new board and get the 2480 than to get the ATX HTPC case.

I may well just have to do that.

I did, but with ATX case you have more space for future expansion, and silent gear.
Up to you, just giving you something to think about.

In some ways I have to disagree, I think the 2480 is going to be less noisy than the ATX designs which seem a bit "older" in their fan design and placement.
As far as expansion goes? This thing will have 1.5Tb and 4 tuners, I don't think I'll be adding anything to it in a hurry.

As an NSK2480 owner, I do think there is a flaw with the fan placement - heatsink orientation. I've gone with an elevated CPU heatsink to try & get some direct airflow to the northbridge (onboard graphics), but even with that, the NB heatsink doesn't get the flow it's expecting.
Fortunately my Asus mobo has a really good NB haetsink, so it doesn't seem to mind, but I've had 2 Abit boards in it that didn't seem to cope very well.
