GA-MA78GM-S2H no display after sleep

Hi again,

Interesting problem that I didn't have on my old HTPC with an 8500gt in it.
I'm using a hdmi-hdmi cable from the mobo to my Panasonic TH-PV500A plasma but whenever i wake the htpc from sleep I don't get my display back until I reset the computer.
The tv says hdmi on it in white which changes to green when it gets a signal and it does this but still doesn't display anything.

I've tried using the hdmion.exe program and assigning it to a keyboard shortcut but it doesn't work either. Might go back to dvi-hdmi and see it that works but this mobo is next to useless if I can't get my screen back after sleep.

Cheers,
Matt

same problem here, except i'm using DVI. I find i can unplug the DVI cable, plug it back in and the display comes back (Quicker then restarting the machine)

So far tried it with the 8.45 and 8.5 drivers, can't use 8.6 because live tv stops working with them. Also tried both hdmi-hdmi and a dvi-hdmi cable but the same thing happens.

Try installing MCE standby tool http://slicksolutions.eu/ It will shutdown MCE before going to sleep.
