Catalyst 8.6 breaks my GA-MA78GM-S2H

Hi all, brand new installation of VMC on this board and everytime I install the 8.6 drivers it breaks VMC. I've fully formatted twice now chasing the problem but it's definitely the drivers. When using the 8.5 drivers everything works perfectly but when I upgrade and try to watch live TV I get sound for about 5 seconds and the screen may display 1 second of video then it all locks up. Any ideas?

System is the MA78GM-S2H v1.1 with F5 bios, 4850e, 500gb SATA drive in Native IDE, 2gb ram.

*Informs self search is my friend* - but I've found plenty of people with the same issue, looks like 8.5 will do for now. Unless anyone has fixed the problem??

Re: Catalyst 8.6 breaks my GA-MA78GM-S2H

Hi Vija,
I get the same issue with Catalyst 8.6. I'm just running 8.5 for the time being as there weren't any important updates in 8.6 that applied to my setup. I might look at 8.7 when it comes out, but probably not unless there's a real need for it

In my case, 8.6 finally fixed just about all of my problems, the most annoying of which was the drivers/card not putting out a signal to my plasma if I switched from VMC to Foxtel IQ and then back again.
