Re: Is the Asus M3N78-EM motherboard ok?

I wouldn't be expecting it to be great from the start, but after 3 or so BIOS updates, it should be fine. I've got the M3N78-EMH HDMI & it's come good with the latest BIOS, but has been frustrating. The previous BIOS fixed a couple of things, but disabled one of the PCI slots!

The 8200 in my board is great for 720p & is supposed to be fine for 1080p. The 8300 is significantly more powerful, so it shouldn't have any problems in that regard.

Re: Is the Asus M3N78-EM motherboard ok?

One thing i am concerned about is the 2 pci slots.
I dont want irq conflicts with my two tuner cards.

Also what would you recommend harddrive/speed wise am i better off with one sata2 32mb cache harddrive or a raid 0 consiting of the two.
