I've just built my first HTPC, which is composed of the following:
ASUS M3N78 PRO Mobo (GF 8300 iGPU)
4GB of DDR2-800 Kingston RAM
WD 500GB SATA II HDD
Linksys WMP300N Wireless-N PCI Card
Logitech Dinovo Mini Bluetooth KB/Mouse
Leadtek DVR3200 H HDTV Tuner Card
Windows XP 2005 MCE
So far everything works great and the system is very quiet and stable.
My only issue is I get no sound from my Tuner Card when it TV Mode. If it's in Timeshifting Mode, or a program has been recorded, I get audio OK. I'm trying to determine why there's no sound in TV Mode
The 4 pin header cable is connected between the TV Tuner and the Motherboard's CD-In Header, but still no sound in TV Mode.
Any advice?
