Exclamation AMD 4850e for $99 anyone?

$99 AMD 4850e - IN STOCK NOW!

Only 30% less than the only other listed stocker in Australia!

Not bad eh?

Just make sure your motherboard is able to accept AM2+ CPUs first!

Enjoy.

Re: AMD 4850e for $99 anyone?

thats an awesome price...but you shouldn't need a AM2+ mobo...just a AM2.

They are still Dual Cores based on the same achitecture as the other X2 CPUs...but you may need a BIOS update to see the CPU properly...

Re: AMD 4850e for $99 anyone?

I saw them for $110 at another store earlier (in stock) - onlineVIP I think. Hopefully that means they'll start appearing everywhere.

Online VIP list them as in stock - don't know if they actually are though.

Well the bad news is I did order it from the other listed stocker, the good news is I just received an e-mail saying they have it in stock and all the parts of my HTPC are ready to be collected.

Guess what I will be doing this weekend.

Cheers
