CPU temperature parameters

Just wondering what is an aceptable temperature for MCE to run at ????

My AMD 64 x 2 , 3800+ runs at about 50*C .... ( 45* ~ 57* )......
Is this too hot ..????

Performance still seems pretty good ..!!!!

cheers
