Question motherboard advice LGA 775 Conroe

Im in the process of building a new HTPC (budget) for a friend.
But I am stuck.
I cant find a MB that has all the onboard features I need to complete the system.
Needs to mATX
DDR2
support Conroe e6300
PCIx16
2 pci slots for the tuner cards
I dont want to put in a seperate sound card on the system to keep the cost.
But I cant find a MB that has onboard SPDIF out on it.
MOst seem to be analogue connection which I cant use.
Reason? The only connection on the amp for surround sound is Spdif.
Budget for MB is $150
Any one have any thoughts on what I can use?

Re: motherboard advice LGA 775 Conroe

well, i've found this ASUS

http://www.asus.com.tw/products4.asp...3&l2=11&l3=310

which i've seen for ~$130...however, you would need to purchase a separate SP/DIF PCI Bracket for it...which is the case for many boards. A few of the board members have been able to find them on E-Bay...

Re: motherboard advice LGA 775 Conroe

Foxconn and Intel each have a board. Foxconn has coaxial SPDIF and Intel is optical.
