Re: Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT MCE Edition

Fabien.

My system beeps once too during reboot, along with a delay whilst it figures out that there is no external gfx card.

You didn't mention whether anything new appears in the Device Manager, have you checked?

Regards,

George.

P.S. I have no experience with the card and XP SP1, only Windows XP MCE (what this community is mainly for)

Rick,

The only 915 chipset MB that the Terratec appears to have a problem with is the AOpen.

Cheers,

George.

Re: Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT MCE Edition

I just ordered one of these from the terratec shop (after losing out on the one on eBay) I used the prepay option has anyone used this before?
I sent the payment via Commonwealth Bank IMT (International Money Transfer) hopefully it work will work. When I receive it and install it, I will be putting my Compro T300 up for sale $100 ONO maybe on eBay if no one here wants it. Any one know when the Compro e700 is coming out (just so i can beat my self up for not waiting)?

Cheers,

Re: Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT MCE Edition

I just received an email from Terratec telling me my Cinergy 2400i DT MCE has shipped. How long did it take for others, from notification to finally arriving?

I'm rebuilding and trying to decide if I should wait or stick my old PCI tuners in for the time being.

Re: Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT MCE Edition

Yup, I ordered mine the minute I got the email notification. Was getting slightly frustrated that I couldn't find any stores with it in stock, or the stores that do have it don't ship to Australia... but that's because I'm impatient when I want something

Got my notification of it being shipped a few days ago, so I'm hoping late next week...

Re: Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT MCE Edition

I ordered mine on Tuesday - got the e-mail on Wednesday saying it had been dispatched.

Interestingly, the notification e-mail that said they were back in stock said this:

"the Cinergy 2400i DT MCE is on stock again in the TerraTec webshop. The new
hardware revision will also work with the i915 chipset"

Re: Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT MCE Edition

Received my card today.

I want to put it in my box with a DVICO Dual tuner, giving me 4 tuners.

has any one paired these two up before and any hints before I give it a go.

After installing the DVICO it makes me nervous.

Re: Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT MCE Edition

News with my problem with Aopen i915 incompatiblity:
After a RMA with Terratec, i received the new hardware version of the card which theorically solve the incompatibilty with the mobo Aopen i915 but with no success !

I explain:
i plugged the card and it recognized as video controller device by windows XP SP1 (unlike the previous version of the card). I guess everything goes ok ! BUT in the device manager, the card appears with an error code 12 (IRQ problem) so it cannot work at all ! I have just one sound card and wifi card installed.
I don't know what to do now. Maybe if i try to install SP2 it will work ? But i would rather to avoid that.

Regards,
Fabien
