Hi.
I hope I may be able to help any 2400i users running Vista..
I now appear to have a 2400i running stable under Media Center on Vista x64. It also works with the terratec sw. Both tuners are fine for UK DVB broadcasts.
The issues I've had included
* In my Dell Dimension 5150 there was originally a bios incompatability. After ~ 3 months almost simultaneously dell released a bios patch, and terratec replaced my card. Either 1 of those fixed the problems. I used to get a blue screen (NMI interrupt) almost everytime I use the card. Now I don't (although I've perhaps seen in ~3 times in 6 months, so maybe there's a very minor hole lurking)
* I run Vista x64. Drivers must be signed. When terratec had no vista drivers I decided to take matters into my own hands and try to use the ones they ship for Windows XP x64. I then "self-signed" them, and configured my system to accept my self-generated certificate. You can read more
on my blog . I'm happy to answer any questions, although it would be great if you could take a read first (just short of time that's all...). Since that time terratex have shipped vista x64 drivers, but I'm not convinced they're signed, so I've kept with my own.
* I was getting tv/video stuttering. One day I had (stuttering) TV up, and was replacing my network adapter driver. As the device "went down" the TV became smooth. I repeated these tests with different driver levels and consistently found that my Netgear WG311T wireless card was the cause of the stutters. As an experiment I used a cheap "bluenext" (also atheros) USB wireless dongle and my problems went away. (the wg311t has been permanently swapped into the old PC now!)
I realise this isn't as good as official terratec support, but Hope this helps.
