My Movies is a free Media Center 2005 add-on application released by
www.binnerup.dk/mce which functions as a remote operated DVD index for both your online and offline DVDs.
Browse your DVD collection by title, actor, director or genre - all with cover art and images. My Movies is a DVD/Movie indexing application which enables you to add movie titles by either inputting data yourself, or downloading it from the internet.
After adding titles you can browse your DVD/Movie collection in Media Center Edition 2005 and view covers, descriptions etc. When you have found the DVD/Movie of your choice, simply select "Watch" to view it. Both online movies stored on your computer, and offline movies stored on DVD discs can be added.
Microsoft Media Center Edition 2005 is required, along with Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1. If you have Media Center Edition 2004, another version of the program "My DVD Collection", which was the previous name of "My Movies" can be downloaded from
www.binnerup.dk/mce .
If you have an even older version of Media Center Edition or do not have .NET Framework 1.1, you can install Windows XP Service Pack 2, which will both upgrade your Media Center Edition to version 2004, and install .NET Framework 1.1.
