New Digital Tuner for XP Media Center

tuner New Magic Australia and Hauppauge Digital, Inc. today launched the "Nova-T/MCE" a PCI Digital TV receiver for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.

"Unlike other competitors releases recently the Nova-T/MCE fully supports both VHF and UHF digital offering a true and complete digital TV experience within Windows Media Center Edition" says Mark Harwood, Managing director of New Magic Australia.

“Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 is one of the most compelling home user experiences we have seen for PCs,” said Ken Plotkin, CEO of Hauppauge. “Our Hauppauge-PVR150/250 and now our Hauppauge-NOVA-T/MCE products add single and dual channel analog and digital television watching, television recording and FM radio to the media experience that consumers have come to expect from their PCs. Now with Media Center Edition 2005, the PC has become the central point for all media in the home.”

Hauppauge-NOVA-T/MCE product with Windows Media Center Edition 2005 drivers will ship from late November 2004. A Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL)-certified drivers for the Hauppauge-PVR150/250 is immediately available directly from Hauppauge/New Magic Australia.

The Hauppauge-NOVA-T/MCE and Hauppauge-PVR-150/250MCE are available to systems integrators and VARs building Media Center PCs through Ingram Micro, TechPacific and directly from the Australian and New Zealand master distributor New Magic Australia Pty Ltd.
