Microsoft recently released beta SDKs for "Windows SideShow Device" that includes potential support for Windows Mobile so it's just a case of time to see nice remote control apps for those devices.

Re: DiNovo Mini Media Center Keyboard

After my experience with the Logitec Wireless DJ music system, I wouldn't purchase another Logitec product. That particular product is totally unreliable and I believe the company sold their remaining inventory fully knowing this. I had mine replaced but the exact same thing happens on my new unit and the (warranty replacement) and a friend has the exact same problem.

If you purhcase a Logitec product make sure you purcahse it from a reseller that will allow you to return it based on a basic performance guarantee - ie: if it does not work as advertised they will give you your money back.

Apparently Logitec direct does not give you that guarantee... so I'm stuck... Buyer beware.

Re: DiNovo Mini Media Center Keyboard

Does anyone know how far these are away from becoming available in Australia? The retailers that do list them via StaticIce all list them as "Out of Stock".

If it's too long I may have to get a fullsized DiNovo in the meantime.

Re: DiNovo Mini Media Center Keyboard

Yes, I believe it does and the dongle sits quite nicely in a bottom compartment if the keyboard if you don't need it (ie laptop / HTPC has built in BT). See the user guide download from the logitech site.

Does anyone know if you can program a button for TV On/Off or Amplifer volume??

Probably not given the Bluetooth comms (ie lack of IR), but that would just be perfect if it could do that!

Yeah the volume controls move the volume up and down on the HTPC quite nicely, however since it is going through my amp that isn't very helpful. No IR on the DiNovo and no Bluetooth on the amp, so no real solution except for hunting around for the Harmony remote to control the volume.

Re: DiNovo Mini Media Center Keyboard

Hi all,

Just picked mine up today. Has worked out quite well from what I've used. Saves me getting up to go to the keyboard if something locks up or what ever. I think now that I can, I will use the big screen / media centre for more than just viewing media

Will see how it goes / keep you all posted.

Re: DiNovo Mini Media Center Keyboard

Do you guys here suffer from the down arrow problem, reported here: Dinovo Mini Design fault..... by myself and by other users over at the AVSforum??

I would really like to know if its a common design fault or there are actually minis out there that dont have this problem.

Cheers

James

Re: DiNovo Mini Media Center Keyboard

I have one of these little puppies... and I gotta say, I like it. Its nice, small, and functional. Sure the keys are a little small to type on but they do work.
