Since the Motorola MPX200 is a smartphone, (also the site doesn't menion smartphones)I would say no.

However I'm going to give this a try on my iPaq 4150 and see if it's any good.

I'll report back with my findings.

Cool Re: highpad | Media Control For XP Media Center Edition

I gave this software a go over the last few days, and I have to say I have mixed feelings.

Great idea that's let down by a confusing interface (even tho it's touted to be easy). I had limited sucess in actually getting it to work properly (tho that is more then likely me then anything else). The actual response of the software is rather slow, even on my 400Mhz iPaq 4150. And initial setup was difficult as the software lacked any detailed manuals.

Nice features are tho the playback of media. It's smooth but suffers from bandwidth limitations on my 802.11b connection on the iPaq. And since it is geared towards mobile devices, PDA's etc, I see a problem that these devices cannot utilize higher bandwidth wireless yet (I'm not aware of any PDA's with 802.11G yet). But that of course isn't the softwares fault.

This software would be better suited for a GPRS device, allowing recording or EPG remote connections. Queing up a TV show to record when your away from home would be cool, but alas something I couldn't test. While the wireless is nice, I can't be help feel it's kinda pointless as to why you'd stream media to your pocket device in your own house when you can sit in front of your TV instead.

All in all, I give it a 50/50. Needs refinement, but this is where things are heading.

Installed.
It is nice. I like the ability to choose a song from my playlist and play it without the TV on.
