Re: OneCare Comes Dead Last

Mmmm - I've been away for 3 days on business and so I'm just catching up - seems like we've had a little fun here boys & girls?

It's been an entertaining but I think that we all need to get back to the original topic before this thread deviates any more with the personal back 'n' forth stuff.

So whilst it's been fun - let's move along and be nice to each other - after all, that's what we're known for around here.

Agree Phil,
We should not forget that the purpose of this forum is helping other people.
I don't think that anyone needs help here. I am out.

Re: OneCare Comes Dead Last

I'm with simbot on this one, with onecare my system slows down comparatively when playing games like C&C3 or SupCom, Converting video, etc. The comparative is with refrence to NOD32 or no AV at all.

With onecare game mission take an extra 30 - 40 seconds to load than with NOD32 or no AV at all. Converting video takes up to 10 minutes longer on an average of 1 hour to convert compared to NOD32 or no AV.

I don't need a study to tell me oncecare does not perform.

Re: OneCare Comes Dead Last

i thought one care was one of the security solutions ive used with little to no bloatware. Ive been a fan of nod32 for a while though.
