New !! - Free EPG Intitiative Launched

A trio of Sydneysiders have stepped up and are making a bold attempt to fill the current gap in the free Australian EPG space! They go by the name of "EPG*Stream" and to quote them;

"To go hand in hand with our site coming to life we've also released Free*EPG, the first of many products and services. Free*EPG is a free electronic programme guide service which we are hoping will gain support from the Aussie EPG community. Our aim with Free*EPG is to let you guys have a rest and let our system take care of some of the techo-magic that occurs with EPG data.

Whilst our service may go down sometimes, we might only do EPG updates twice a week, our TV shows may have no descriptions, and there may be spelling mistakes on our website... just remember it's FREE and the service will get better with your feedback and support!

We've had a few conversations with these guys and it was a really easy decision to give them all the help we can by showing tangible support for what they're trying to achieve. So we've set up a dedicated support forum right here which will enable them to concentrate on the EPG backend stuff whilst we provide the front end space for them to respond to your questions and challenges.
