FreeEPG not doing pay tv any more?

Today I noiced that when I downloaded the new guide that FreeEPG will be no longer doing the guide for pay tv after Sunday July 28th.

Now my understanding was that my guide was comming from OZtivo through EPG as the grabber, I dont totally understand what that means but I was wondering what I must do to continue using my MC with an intact guide for both free to air and pay tv. Any ideas or hints would be much appriciated.

For 2 years I have opperated my MC without missing a beat but it seams that my donation to FreeEPG was not enough.

If there is already an explination on this site I do appologise for missing it but I have spent all day looking and can not find a single thing.

Thanks muchly
McManny

Re: FreeEPG not doing pay tv any more?

That is really bad news.......................

EPGStream have in their forum some application called WMCGuideServiceProxy, check it out.

I haven't tested it yet, anyone else had a go at this?

Hope this helps

Re: FreeEPG not doing pay tv any more?

This devistating news, FreeEPG was so simple install done!

Now I've gone throught the new solution (XMLdownload & wmcGuideServiceProxy) used all the setup info and seem to be stuck on either registration or the "licence file" that is to be sent via email. (I guess no one working on weekends, more then fair enough).

has anyone else had success yet with it
