Unable to add listings to channels

I'm hoping there is a way to rectify my problem without having to reinstall MCE. What I'm trying to rectify is when I set up the guide in MCE I forgot to include a few channels so I just added them in my OzTivo page thinking they would then appear in MCE and be able to be added to the corresponding channel but this didn't work. I'm running MCE 2005 with Bladerunner 3.5, xmltv and OzTivo for the guide data. I have FTA and Austar (wixkidders reg hack). I have tried deleting the channelinfo.xml file in the quick guide and this made Bladerunner make a new channelinfo.xml file which did include all the channels I was missing but MCE couldn't access the new file. I'm wondering if I'm on the right track or not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oberg.

Re: Unable to add listings to channels

Not sure whether you're trying to add fta or fox channels. If it's fox channels, can you use the Add Missing Channels button to set up the channel, then go to add guide to listings and link the guide to the new channel?

Re: Unable to add listings to channels

Jacko the channels are there in the guide and I can watch them and there is info for them in the xml file generated by Bladerunner but the channel info xml file has no entry for them and when I generate and new channel info file or manually edit it it produces an error in Bladerunner. Anyway I've since done a fresh MCE install and am now using xmltv and webproxy or whatever it's called and it works ok.
